The president and owner of Florida Voice and Swallowing Diagnostics is Dr. David Ross, a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist who has spent his professional career honing his diagnostic and therapeutic skill under a variety of wonderful doctors, Medical Speech-Language Pathologists and Endoscopists. Graduating from Boston University, Idaho State University, and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Ross was able to see how the modern and comfortable technology of Endoscopy can be used in a variety of situations and with a variety of patients in a variety of different regions around the country. Dr. Ross is currently completing his Doctoral studies and is also currently applying for his Board Certification in Swallowing Disorders (via the American Board of Swallowing Disorders). Dr. Ross has practiced in multiple states, in a variety of environments and with pediatric, adult and geriatric patients and he has been asked to consult, present and guest lecture on a variety of topics relating to Endoscopy, Videostroboscopy, Medical Ethics, Supervision in Speech-Language Pathology, Counseling in Speech-Language Pathology and Voice/Swallowing Disorders. Dr. Ross also works with a CEU Provider to provide hands-on training for both FEES and Videostroboscopy to people around the country, and he has continually served as a Clinical Mentor for a few Clinical Fellows each year. Dr. Ross has assisted multiple facilities and hospitals with starting their own pediatric and adult swallowing centers, and continues to enjoy providing this type of support. Dr. Ross is a multi-grant funded and published research, and presents his research annually at local, national and international conventions.

Dr. Ross enthusiasm and passion for the field of voice and swallowing diagnostics is apparent to anyone who knows him, and he loves creating and adding to the growing body of clinically-relevant empirical evidence in his field. Dr. Ross speaks multiple languages, enjoys his three golden retrievers and is the co-founder of the first global swallowing charity, Curadis. Dr. Ross is also interested in the concepts of Ethics, Supervision and Counseling and Trauma-Informed Care in Speech-Language Pathology.

Dr. Ross’ primary motivation in life is to help those who need by providing modern, comfortable and appropriate medical and therapeutic technology that may identify and ultimately help treat the millions of people afflicted with a variety of voice and swallowing disorders around the world. Because technology is now truly mobile, there is no reason why patients all around the world cannot benefit from it; it is this singular mission that has brought Dr. Ross to creating Florida Voice and Swallowing Diagnostics, the first worldwide provider of mobile voice and swallowing diagnostics! We truly are a person-centric, culturally-sensitive, and linguistically-appropriate services! Dr. Ross will begin his post-doctoral degree in 2025.

Gabriel lucas, B.sc (business manager)

The business manager and partner of Florida Voice and Swallowing Diagnostics is Gabriel Lucas. Originally from Brazil, Gabriel moved to Florida in 2000. After completing his Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Florida International University, Gabriel spent years working with a variety of Fortune 500 companies, honing his management skills. Gabriel focuses on the various facets of business in order to keep Florida Voice and Swallowing Diagnostics running day-to-day. From billing and payment schedules to patient and client management, Gabriel makes sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly for everyone. Gabriel was instrumental in helping Florida Voice and Swallowing Diagnostics open its doors, and continues to work hard in trouble-shooting and problem solving. Prior to partnering at Florida Voice and Swallowing Diagnostics, Gabriel managed employees in the retail sector while also working upper management positions. Gabriel speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.
